Medical Device Usability (MDU) has received an award from a client in recognition of the important Human Factors and usability contribution made to the development of a pharmaceutical device in 2016. The device is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and Crohn’s Disease.

The award, presented by the senior management at the client company to the staff who had worked on and developed this particular device, included the MDU team in recognition of their input and expertise on both verification and validation studies.

Richard Featherstone, Managing Director of MDU, said: “We are thrilled to receive this award, as a partner company, in recognition of the contribution MDU has made to the development of this device. We were brought in to help during the early days of the development process and are delighted for our client’s team that their efforts have been recognised at the highest level too.”
