MDU sponsors “Essential HF for Medical Devices” course in Dublin

DATE: 4th October 2016
LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland

We are pleased to announce that Medical Device Usability will be sponsoring the ANSI Essential Human Factors for Medical Devices course taking place from 4-6 October 2016 in Dublin.

The course, organised by Pure Insight Ltd., offers essential training and insights to those companies selling or planning to sell medical devices in the US.

The course is the only one of its kind outside of the US in 2016 and will look at the latest FDA and ISO requirement updates published in 2016.  There will be a range of expert speakers including Dr Robert North and Dr Ed Israelski.  Ron Kaye, Human Factors Pre-Market Evaluation Team Leader in the CDRH office of the FDA until earlier this year, will be teaching part of the course for the first time.  On the second day there will be a two-hour Q&A teleconference with Irene Chan and Shannon Hoste of the FDA.  Richard Featherstone, Managing Director of Medical Device Usability, will be the Gala Dinner speaker.
